My Inspiration
Let me first tell you of how thecareermum.com blog’s idea was born. Not a long time ago I was a young mother and a professional, and I found myself torn between my work and parenting. I faced so many challenges along the way trying to make both worlds work. I however slowly adjusted, learning over and over again what work and family tips work and what does not. This information helped me ease into making it as both a mother and an ICT professional.
I believe there is a multitude of mums out there, facing a commitment in-balance between their work or business and their family. Often we women are forced by circumstances to give up on our career to be family women. Other times our family suffers because of our work or business commitment. But none has to suffer and I want to inspire mums and mums-to-be that you still can make great mothers and excel in your work or business without giving up on any.
